Old Head Burial
lyrics
Now it's too late to die young
It's weird
Never thought I'd see grays in my beard
Never thought I'd see grays in my hair
Thought I'd be dead by now, but I'm here
Huh
Looks like plan B
Life after bets on what would kill me
Vegas odds, I beat the spread
No thanks to my existential dread
I use to live like there's no tomorrow
Then tomorrow became today
Now I live life on time that's borrowed
Hoping that debt is never gets paid
Hey
Ain't go out like Kurt did
Spike in the vain, and a note in cursive
Brain full of buckshot, but what's strange is
I'm only alive because I ain't get famous
27 was fun
I tried to join that club
But then the day didn't come
Now it's too late to die young
Now it's too late to die young
Young
Young
Now it's too late to die young
Whoa
Now it's too late to die young
Young
Young
Now it's too late to die young
Whoa
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
Dead
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
Dead
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
Dead
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
Dead
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
Dead
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, I was born dead
Born dead
To late to be gone too soon
Great now I gotta readjust my tune
Start working out and eating the right food
So I can be that cool older white dude
Who ain't never stop rhyming
No Big Bopper, get rich or die flying
I'm thriving, I age like fine wine
My body ain't the same age as my mind
Brain of an addict
On a race track but it didn't end tragic
Is it fate or wasted youth magic?
Icebergs couldn't sink my titanic
God damn it
Keep it moving, loser
Find out life is a ruthless tutor
Ain't no need to remove the sutures
Shout out to my future tumors
27 was fun
I tried to join that club
But then the day didn't come
Now it's too late to die young
Now it's too late to die young
Young
Young
Now it's too late to die young
Whoa
Now it's too late to die young
Young
Young
Now it's too late to die young
Whoa
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, can't kill me
Can't kill me, I was born dead

Album of the year. In a fair and just world, they would be headlining festivals with this one. Big hooks. Vivid verses. Fingers-crossed, the instrumentals will get the vinyl treatment. Goodwill Hunter

Jesus what an absolutely stunning collection of hip-hop. If I have to be a dick, this album is more of a mix tape in style, the aesthetics of each song is just so different, there's a certain level of narrative disconnect. That said, the actual songs themselves are fucking ill. Packed with dope features, each one matched with Scott's production makes for a genuinely rewarding listen. Rest easy man, you'll be missed. always_kos
Futuristic feminist hip-hop, the first full debut EP from this young, ultra-talented Californian and her team of way-out producers. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2016

Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do.
I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool.
Ceschi is a bright star. I’m glad he’s loose in the world. oldtruck
